Boards and Commissions

The City has seven volunteer boards and commissions, each with its own requirements for service.  The City Council makes appointments to fill the volunteer positions on these Boards.  The average term is three years and the typical level of commitment is one meeting per month; however, this does vary so check the specific requirements for the individual boards.

The City advertises vacant positions through the web site and press releases to local papers.  If you are interested in serving on a board and want to be notified when a vacancy occurs add your name to the notification list.
