- The City does not accept unsolicited resumes. Please apply only for
advertised openings. Most positions require completion of a specific
application packet (see positions listed in
Employment Opportunities for application requirements).

How can I find out if you received my
application packet?

If you mailed your application packet to
us, please do not call to find out if we received it. If you prefer to
deliver your application packet in person, the City Hall reception
counter is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What is the status of my application for employment?
- Completed applications submitted by the closing deadline for an active
recruitment will be reviewed as soon as possible (usually during the week
following the closing).
Applicants who are selected to proceed to the next step will be contacted
either by telephone and invited to participate in an interview
(and sometimes a testing process). An approximate interview date is usually
listed in the Selection Process section of the recruitment materials.
- Generally within a few days after the interview, top candidate(s)
will be
contacted by telephone and invited to a second interview, which may be followed
up with a written employment offer to the selected finalist.
