Mill Creek Police Department Crime Prevention

 Vacant House Checks

The Mill Creek Police Department offers a Vacant  House Check service. House checks are done primarily by volunteers and are done solely to the extent that time and personnel are available. Vacant House Checks are not to be used as a substitute for your own security measures. To request a vacant house check while you are out of town fill out a Vacant House Check form and return it in person, by mail, or email: policerecords@cityofmillcreek.com.

Welcome to the Crime Prevention Unit of the Mill Creek Police Department

Crime prevention is more than just a person, a unit, or a slogan. Crime prevention reduces victimization and deters crime and criminals.

It is cheaper, safer, and smarter for communities to prevent crime than to have to treat its victims, deal with its perpetrators, and lose civic health and productivity. It is a concept that works. But the responsibility of crime prevention doesn’t fall on one person – it’s everyone’s responsibility.

The Mill Creek Police Department is committed to crime prevention. We hope that you will take a few  minutes to browse the crime prevention information on this webpage. Knowledge is power and we encourage you to do your part in keeping your-self and your neighborhood safe.
