                                            What do I do with household hazardous waste?

Know which products are hazardous.  Look for these words on the label:  CAUTION, WARNING, DANGER, CAUSTIC, FLAMMABLE, COMBUSTIBLE, POISON, CORROSIVE.

Snohomish County Public Works Solid Waste management has a free year round household hazardous waste disposal center:

   Location:  3434 McDougall Avenue, Everett
   Hours:  Wednesday through Saturday, from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

DO NOT BRING:

Empty containers, electronics, medical waste, asbestos, explosives, or non--hazardous waste.

Free Paint & Yard Products:

Pick up educational pamphlets, as well as free latex paint, auto and garden and yard care products at the Information and Salvaged Products Center.

Dumping of any hazardous materials in Environmentally Critical Areas is not allowed per Mill Creek Municipal Code, Section 18.06.320.
