Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the way your information is collected and used.

Public Access to Information

The Public Records Act and other Washington laws are designed to ensure that the public has a right to access appropriate records and information possessed by City government, and restricts the City of Mill Creek's right to keep certain information confidential. The City must comply with these laws. We have considered the Public Records Act and other applicable laws in drafting this Privacy Policy but, in the event of a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Public Records Act or other laws governing the disclosure of public records, the applicable laws will control.

The Information We Collect

The City of Mill Creek web site does not currently collect any personal information such as name, address, e-mail address, phone number, or credit card information. Our system does automatically collect certain other information during your visit. None of this other information readily identifies the individual using the web site. This other information is as follows:

1. The Internet Protocol Address and domain name used by your computer;

2. The type of browser and operating system used;

3. The date and time of your site visit;

4. The web pages or services accessed at this site; and

5. The web site you visited prior to coming to this web site.

This information is used by our system to enable you to browse, read pages and download information. We also use it in a non-identifying and aggregate format to better design our website, maintain our system, and to determine what information is of the most interest to users of the City of Mill Creek site. Except in the case of authorized law enforcement requirements (for example, court-ordered subpoenas or criminal investigations), no attempt will be made to identify individual users or their usage information.

Collection of Personal Information

The City of Mill Creek website contains links to other sites.  Once you link to another site, this privacy policy no longer applies and you become subject to the privacy and security policies of that site.
