Application and Review Process

City Hall SouthAll non-Police Department applicants must submit applications through ADP, the City’s recruitment tool. The application packet requirements include a cover letter and resume, responses to the supplemental questions, and samples of work.

It is recommended that applicants carefully read the application requirements for the specific position in which they are interested; incomplete applications will be disqualified. The City only accepts electronic applications for open positions; therefore, unsolicited applications and/or resumes will not be considered or retained.

Review and Selection Process

A beautiful setting outside City HallCompleted applications submitted by the closing deadline for an active recruitment will be reviewed as soon as possible. Application packets are reviewed based on pre-established, job-related criteria. Applicants selected to proceed to the next step will be contacted by telephone and asked to participate in an interview and/or testing process.

For most recruitment, candidates who are not successful will not receive any notification. Check ADP for updates regarding the status of current recruitment's with application periods that recently closed or those that are open until filled. Please be patient while we go through the recruitment process. Please keep in mind that calling the City will not expedite the status of your application.
