City Council Extends Paid Administrative Leave

An image of Rebecca PolizzottoAt its Aug. 2 special meeting, the Mill Creek City Council extended the City Manager’s paid administrative leave until Aug. 24.

In a statement he read to those in attendance, City Attorney Scott Missall stated, “As you know, Council has a fiduciary responsibility to the City. Council is aware this situation is of public concern. The investigation is ongoing, but is expected to be concluded shortly and is necessary for the Council’s consideration. Because the investigation is unfinished I recommend a motion to extend the City Manager’s administrative leave until August 24."
