Mill Creek City Council Recognizes 2024 Great Garden Award Recipients
MILL CREEK, WA. – The Mill Creek City Council will recognize the 2024 Great Garden Award recipients at their upcoming Council Meeting on October 8th, 2024, during a presentation beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The Art & Beautification (A&B) Board, chaired by Peter Furtado, tours different Mill Creek residents’ gardens yearly and nominates residents who have demonstrated creativity in their garden spaces, dedicating considerable time and effort to beautifying their properties.
“Mill Creek is a city that takes great pride in its services, businesses, and appearance,” says Councilmember John Steckler, the City Council Representative on the Art & Beautification Board. “We are so grateful to have a chance once a year to recognize those citizens who also take great pride in the appearance of their homes. A big thank you to all the Great Gardens throughout Mill Creek. You make us all proud.”
The A&B Board met on August 28th to review the nominations, and the following twelve recipients were selected.
