Demolition of Property Structures Taking Place
Posted on 06/29/2020

The City of Mill Creek will begin demolishing structures this week on two properties purchased for potential development. The demolition is scheduled to last for up to 25 working days. The structures are being demolished to avoid their use to support illegal activities. The City has no use for these buildings in the future.

The structures include the former St. Francis Episcopal Church in the 13000 block of Bothell-Everett Highway, and a single-family home on the former Cook property in the 13000 block of North Creek Drive. The City purchased the church property earlier this year and has owned the former Cook property since 2004. The Cook property has long been used for storage by the City.
