Board Bash 9The Mill Creek community is invited to attend the summer's biggest "Party in the Parks" event on Thursday August 25th from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.. This event offers family-friendly fun while showcasing all that Mill Creek Sports Park has to offer. Entrance and activities are free, and food will be available for purchase.

"Our recent Party in the Park events at Highlands & Heron Parks were a big hit," said Marketing and Communications Coordinator Scott Harder. "Hundreds of residents came outside to spend time with their neighbors. So, for this final Party, we are resurrecting 'Board Bash,' a skateboard jam and exhibition held annually for eight years until 2015. We are excited to partner with Pop's Skateboard Shop in Everett to host this exhibition in our skateboard park."

This final summer party celebrates our community's love of sports, outdoor activities, and good food. Vendors include Pop's Skateboard Shop, Mill Creek YMCA, Vertical World Climbing Gym, Skyhawks, Columbia Athletic Club, Mill Creek - Pure Barre, Everett Lacrosse Club, Tiny Arts Face Painting, Town & Country Markets, Everett Public Schools, Kiwanis of Mill Creek, Hope Creek Foundation, Gold Creek Community Church, Mill Creek Police Department & Citizens Patrol, and more. In addition, food will be available for purchase from local food trucks, WiseGuy Italian Street Food, Yummy Box Asian Fusion Street Food, and specialty desserts by "Sugar & Spoon."

Limited parking will be available at the vacant lot at 13716 Bothell Everett Hwy just north of the Mill Creek Sports Park - look for "Party in the Parks" signs. Also available is parking along Heatherwood Drive, Trillium Blvd, and the overflow lot west of Freedom Field off of North Creek Drive.
