MILL CREEK, Wash. – Two upcoming construction projects may impact local traffic.

Construction on the Creekside West Preliminary Plat/PAD off of 35th Avenue Southeast will begin by the week of August 10. The contractor will be excavating approximately seven feet of peat and bringing in new fill for the project. As a result, there will be heavy truck traffic from the private road connecting to 35th Avenue Southeast that may impact local traffic.

With WSDOT work resuming on the intersection at 39th Avenue Southeast, work on The Farm Mixed Use Development will be forced to route site access through 41st Avenue Southeast until the intersection at 39th Avenue is complete. Upon completion of 39th Avenue intersection, site access will then be re-routed access off of 132nd Avenue Southeast and 39th Avenue Southeast. The duration for this project is targeted for 60 days.

The contractor, Inland Construction, has been working with the Vintage at Mill Creek to mitigate any adverse impact to residents.
