Surface Water Pipe Repair Beginning July 20
Posted on 07/20/2020

MILL CREEK, Wash. – The City of Mill Creek will begin repairing the City’s surface water pipes in the Douglas Fir, Vine Maple and Evergreen neighborhoods beginning on Monday, July 20. Work on these repairs will take place over the next two months.

The City’s contractor, Allied Trenchless, will be utilizing trenchless technology that will allow the pipes to be repaired without having to excavate around the pipe. The contractor will open manholes and catch basin grates to gain access to the pipes to complete the repair work.

Citizens living in the Douglas Fir, Vine Maple and Evergreen neighborhoods can expect noise associated with the use of a vacuum truck that will be used to clean the pipes before repairs are made. The contractors will have trucks parked on the side of the road while the repair work is being performed.
