CT Orange Line Project

Project Name: Swift Orange Line Bus Rapid Transit
Description
: The Swift Orange Line is Community Transit's third Bus Rapid Transit line, connecting Edmonds College with McCollum Park, the Blue Line to the Green Line, and Swift to Link light rail at Lynnwood Transit Center. The line will add 16 new stations along the corridor, with speed and reliability improvements at several bottleneck locations, a re-design of new stations, a new northbound station on the Blue Line to facilitate transfers to and from the Orange Line, and two re-built transit centers at each end of the Orange Line.
The project area is an 11-mile linear project built along developed roadways. The project will add approximately 2.1 acres of impervious surfaces, primarily through road widening.
