From local parties in the parks and art walks, to Veterans Day events honoring members of the U.S. Armed Forces, Mill Creek has something for everyone.

It’s Raining Chocolate
Feb. 9
Mill Creek Town Center, Main Street
Come enjoy everything chocolate in the Mill Creek Town Center with fun for the whole family. Take part in a chocolate eating contest, enter the kids chocolate recipe contest, have a taste of chocolate or sip on a cup of hot chocolate. Eggstravaganza

April 20 | 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Heatherwood Middle School.
The City of Mill Creek’s outdoor Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt includes bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, age-appropriate egg hunts and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. The egg hunt for kids ages one through four begins at 11 a.m., and the egg hunt for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade begins at 11:30 a.m. Participants should bring a basket to collect eggs. A donation of a non-perishable food item is suggested to help support the Mill Creek Community Food Bank. millcreektourism.com/eggstravaganza

Wine Walk & Art Walk
May 11 | 5 – 8 p.m.
Mill Creek Town Center
Come enjoy tastings from local wineries and art from local artisans while strolling down Main Street in Mill Creek Town Center. Be sure to check out the great local shops and restaurants. millcreektowncenter.biz

Day of Hope
May 18-19 | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Mill Creek
Lend a hand at the Day of Hope event, which brings hundreds of volunteers together to complete numerous projects throughout the City such as improving local schools, parks and working in nursing homes. hopecreekcf.org

Memorial Day Commemorative Ceremony
May 27 | 9 a.m.
Veterans Monument at Library Park, 15429 Bothell Everett Hwy
The City’s Memorial Day Commemorative Ceremony kicks off the Memorial Day events in Mill Creek and includes laying an honorary wreath, patriotic songs by the Mill Creek Chorale, a flag raising ceremony, and more. millcreektourism.com/memorialday

Memorial Day Parade
May 27 | 11 a.m.
Main Street in Mill Creek (between LA Fitness, 15024 Main St., and City Hall North, 15720 Main St.)
Mill Creek residents and community members come together to honor those who have died in active service in the U.S. Armed Forces. Come be part of the celebration! Interested parties can apply to be in the parade at millcreektourism.com/memorialday.

Art Walk
Thursdays starting June 13 | 5 – 8 p.m.
Mill Creek Town Center
The City of Mill Creek's Art and Beautification Board partners with Mill Creek Town Center to present the annual summer Art Walks. These free events are tons of fun for the whole family. Attendees can walk through Town Center and visit local artists and local businesses.

Mill Creek Farmers Market
Tuesdays, June 18 – Aug. 20 | 3-7 p.m.
Mill Creek City Hall North Parking Lot, 15720 Main St.
Shop for fresh produce and artisan products from local farms and entrepreneurs. Shoppers are encouraged to make it an afternoon out to enjoy more time out and about with family or friends. This includes walking into Mill Creek Town Center to enjoy a bite to eat, checking out local shops or supplementing farmers market items with other supplies from local grocers. millcreekfarmersmarket.org

Mill Creek Garden Tour
June 22 | 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Various Mill Creek Homes
At your own pace tour of six beautiful gardens in the Mill Creek area. Crafty artisans will be selling their wares in each garden. $15 each, $20 on day of tour. Tickets go on sale first week of May. Party in the Park

Games, food and fun in the summer sun is what the Party in the Parks event is all about. The City of Mill Creek will host three neighborhood Party in the Parks events this summer. Mill Creek Town Center Summer Concert Series
Wednesday’s starting July 3 – Sept. 4 | 6 – 8 p.m.

3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
July 13 – 14 | 12 p.m.
Mill Creek City Hall North, 15720 Main St.
Youth and adults are invited to participate in the annual Mill Creek Star Fest 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament July 13-14 at the Mill Creek City Hall North parking lot. Youth who will enter grades 3-12 in the fall are included in the youth divisions, which will compete on Saturday, July 13. Adult divisions will compete on Sunday, July 14. Teams are limited to four players and each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games. Registration is required by June 30. T-shirts will be given out. Mill Creek Festival
July 13-14
Mill Creek Blvd between 164th Street SE and 159th Place SE
The annual Mill Creek Festival, put on by the Mill Creek Chamber of Commerce, will take place on from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, with beer garden hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Sunday, July 14, the festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with beer garden hours from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event offers fun for the whole family. It includes three stages of live entertainment, local art booths, a children’s plaza and rides, a beer and wine garden with extended hours, commercial booths and a pet plaza. millcreekchamber.com

Kid Fest

Mill Creek Town Center merchants will have fun activities for the kids to take part in at business locations and look for live performances throughout the Town Center. This is a free event that the whole family will love. Millcreektowncenter.biz

National Night Out
Aug. 6 | 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

The community is invited to join the Mill Creek Police Department and Snohomish County Fire 7 for fun family activities, food, and crime prevention and disaster preparedness information. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors, first responders and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Hosting your own block party? Trunk or Treat
Oct. 31 | 6 – 7:30 p.m.
Mill Creek City Hall North Parking Lot, 15720 Main St.
The City of Mill Creek partners with Canyon Creek Church to host the annual Trunk or Treat event. Kids converge upon a parking lot full of cars and booths decorated and filled with candy and goodies. Kids can go from car to car "trunk-or-treating" in the City Hall North parking lot. Kids ages 12 and under are invited to join the fun. Bring your own bag for collecting candy, as well as a canned food item as a suggested donation to benefit the Mill Creek Food Bank. millcreektourism.com/trunkortreat

Veterans Day Parade

Tree Lighting Ceremony
