The Mill Creek City Council authorized City Manager, Michael Ciaravino, to execute on a real estate purchase and sale agreement with the Diocese of Olympia at its July 2nd meeting.

The property located at 13716 Bothell-Everett Highway is the current site of the Templo Emanuel Church. It sits between the recently renovated Mill Creek Sports Park to the south and the Mill Creek Sports building to the north. The property also shares boundaries with two City-owned properties to the west that were acquired in 2005. The property is roughly four and a half acres and includes one existing structure, a 2,500 square foot building. The listing price is $2.2 million.

“We are excited about the possibilities this land may offer for our residents,” said City Manager Michael Ciaravino. “We will, however, continue to do our due diligence to ensure it is a good fit for us.”

The proposed purchase and sale agreement includes a 180-day feasibility period. During the feasibility period, the City will review any information about the property and conduct other studies to determine if the property will meet City needs.
