Mill Creek Police seek the public’s help in identifying a man who stole two packages from the front porch of a Mill Creek residence. The incident occurred the afternoon of Jan. 26 in the 3200 block of 145th Place SE, Mill Creek.

The man, posing as a delivery person, carries an empty package up to the porch. He drops off the empty package and picks up a package that had previously been delivered and waiting on the porch. The subject then makes a second trip to the porch to pick up another large package, which he then carries to his vehicle.

“This individual was so confident in his cover that he performed the theft while residents were outside their homes nearby,” said Detective Sergeant Stan White.

The owners have a camera embedded in their doorbell that captured the entire incident on video: https://ring.com/share/6515495607423388508.

The suspect is a white male, approximately 5-feet 11-inches tall, and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds. He has brown hair, and is estimated to be between 35 and 40 years of age. The subject is seen pulling away in a small blue SUV, unknown license plate.
