AWC Scholarship

City Council is currently accepting applications for the Association of Washington Cities Center for Quality Communities Scholarship. The AWC Center believes in helping to ensure the success of student leaders who care about their communities.

High school seniors that live within Mill Creek boundaries are encouraged to apply by February 28, 2020 to become the City’s AWC nominee. The nominee will be eligible to secure one of six available statewide scholarships in the amount of $1,500.

Students interested in applying must be eligible to graduate from high school in June 2020 and be continuing their education in the 2020-2021 academic year at an accredited college, community college or trade school. City Council is looking to nominate a student that has immersed himself or herself in local government or within a community/school leadership activity.
